I am available for school and organization events and can simply read and discuss my books to your audience or present a more extensive program to meet your needs. I also present workshops on biblilotherapy, and social and emotional development in young children for parents and educators. |

This picture is from The Plethora of Authors Event held at the Learned Owl Bookstore in Hudson, OH. I’d love to come to YOUR school, church, bookstore, children’s store or gift shop. I will come to preschools through 6th grade and design a program to meet your needs. I prefer to interact with small groups of children (classroom size). Choose which book/s you would like me to read, the time you would like me to spend, and your specific focus: friendship, conflict resolution, bullying, creative writing process. For church-related events I will be happy to discuss the inspiration behind the Annie Mouse Books in more detail! |

This is me with my mountain dulcimer! Let me know if you’d like me to bring it along to the event you schedule! Children especially LOVE learning about this instrument. I might even bring along my hammered dulcimer, too! |

Workshops, conferences, parent/teacher seminars During these events participants will discover how awareness of normal early childhood development could prevent behavior problems. Participants will also learn how the appropriate use of children’s literature could assist with social and emotional growth and development. My areas of expertise include: Early childhood development, social/emotional growth, gifted child education, literacy, bibliotherapy and behavior management issues in early childhood for both parents and educators.
